Written and directed by Mark Storen Trapped is a new physical theatre work that offers a serious of unexpected surprises. Centred on three indefinite entities trapped in an ambiguous space this piece is concerned with notions of fear, isolation, friendship and survival.
By constructing a physical, emotional and aesthetic language our hope is to produce a work that is able to speak to multiple audiences bridging language and cultural difference.Featuring an international cast from Australia, Greece, Italy and Norway, this darkly comic tale was developed with three actors and a dancer in Berlin and Rome in January and February 2011 with the hope to perform at festivals around Australia in 2012.
